I know, if you are anything like me you are looking for that Profitable Niche Market that makes you tons of Money. Believe me they are out there, you just have to know how to find them and analyze them.

You can decide to do what a lot of people do in this internet game and choose something that you are totally passionate about and market the heck out of it. Who knows, you might get lucky and pick the right niche market. Chances are you wont.

Starting your business around a subject that you love does have its advantages. You will love talking and researching about it, but you might not have enough funds in the bank account at the beginning of the month to pay your mortgage.

If prefer doing research. I like to start by using a keyword tool that Google offers. For instance if you think “train engines” would be a cool topic then I would type in the most general keyword, which would be “trains”. Out will come a gigantic list of related Keywords with there corresponding number of searches. Now you have your Keyword list.

Pick a few keyword topics that look promising. Sure people are searching on these topics, but are they buying? Take a look at Amazon and see if there are any popular books written on the topic and also see if there are any magazines. This is a real indicator that people in that market are buying. Do a check on Google too. Type in a keyword and look for paid sponsor ads on the right side. If you see a lot then this is also a good indicator.

Another thing you could try would be Yahoo Answers. People are always looking for answers to something. See if you can find anything on your idea. Do you have a product or a source for a product already? If you do then you could answer questions and, not so obviously, mention your website. If you are selling an affiliate product you might want to disguise your URL. Type in URL disguise or something like this into a search engine and you will see many. Pick one and type in your affiliate link and you will get a masked URL you could use for your posting. A lot of people make good Money doing this. Be Helpful in your answers though.

You know people are buying in your Niche Market so next you want to find out what amount of competition there is. If you get this wrong it will take you for ever to get at the top of search engines, if you ever do.
